Battling an eating disorder is difficult – you don’t have to go it alone.
I am an expert with over 10 years experience at helping people learn how to can gain control of their lives and end their battle with food. I would love to help you, too!
Struggling with and eating disorder or “just” a disordered relationship with food is difficult, scary, and downright exhausting. It is often fraught with feelings of shame, self-criticism, and self-judgment and can lead to isolation and feeling incredibly “stuck”. Although well intended family, friends and other loved ones might try to help, they often don’t know how and can sometimes –unintentionally – say things that are hurtful in an attempt to be supportive. (Ever hear something like “I don’t understand why you don’t just eat!!” “Are you sure you should be eating that?” “X,Y, Z food is ‘bad’.”)
